Our Projects
Culture Studio began life as a community interest company in 2014 collaborating with artists, practitioners, academics, heritage experts and the local community to deliver arts and heritage projects. Culture Studio CIC was a not-for-profit social enterprise that promoted collaboration and exchange of arts and crafts between the UK and India. Culture Studio Craft store sold beautifully handcrafted and fairtrade items produced by skilled artisans in India who have been continuing their craft traditions for generations.
Projects in Development
In April 2021, Daljeet was accepted on the Sundance Collab "Creating Your Non-Fiction Podcast" course, and is developing an audio documentary about her hometown Southall, West London on this course.
Culture Studio is collaborating with theatre pioneer Jatinder Verma on an audio documentary about Southall, and how the killing of a young man named Gurdip Chaggar changed the face of Britain.
